Hello. Renting is a much more fixed time period because it coincides with a current lease ending but a large ammount of the vacant places come on 60 days before the lease start date. Buying a house typically requires much more lead time. Time to Negotiate, to have inspections, then an to actually close the deal. In addition requires greater savings so it requires greater planning. What from your current day to day life will you keep and what will you change? How close do you want to be to work, school, family, or local places you frequent? What is your budget?
